Most Pixels have a cheaper aftermarket screen option, while refurbished screens cost more but come with fewer quirks — and genuine Google screens sit at the top, when they're available. Here's the honest timeline: we don't keep every Pixel screen on the shelf — that's how we keep prices down. Parts get ordered daily with a 5 PM cutoff, and they usually land the next business day. Once your part's in, the repair itself is typically done same-day. So if you message us at 9 PM hoping for a fix by tomorrow morning — that one's not physically possible. Reach out as early as you can and we'll have the part waiting.

We offer up to three tiers depending on your model: aftermarket (cheapest, decent quality, but the most likely to have quirks), refurbished (few if any issues — our most popular pick), and genuine Google (top quality, often available, but pricey). One big thing to know: the in-screen fingerprint reader often won't work on aftermarket screens, and even refurbished can occasionally have issues with it. If fingerprint unlock is a must-have for you, tell us upfront — we can usually source a genuine screen from Google, it just costs more.

If your Pixel is still under Google's warranty and the screen broke on its own, go through Google first — that's free and you should use it. But accidental damage (drops, cracks) isn't covered by Google's warranty anyway, so there's usually nothing to void. Repairing a cracked screen with us doesn't change what Google would or wouldn't cover.

Our warranty covers the part we installed and the work we did — if the screen develops defects, touch issues, or display problems that aren't from a new drop, we make it right. It doesn't cover new physical damage (a second date with the pavement is a new repair, sorry) or water damage after the fact.

We can take a look. Water damage is unpredictable — sometimes it's a straightforward fix, sometimes the board's toast. We'll diagnose it honestly and tell you whether it's worth fixing before you spend a dime.

Walk-ins are welcome, but here's the thing: since most Pixel parts are ordered per-repair, calling or messaging ahead means your screen is here when you are. Contact us first, we order the part (5 PM daily cutoff), and it's usually in the next business day — then your actual repair is quick.

If it's a manufacturing defect under warranty, use Google — that's free. But for cracked screens, mail-in and carrier repairs typically mean 1–2 weeks without your phone, shipping risk, and often a higher bill. We do it locally, usually within a day or two of you contacting us, and you never lose your phone to a courier.

Mail-in means a week-plus without your phone. Kiosks often use the cheapest parts available with no real warranty behind them. We're local, we tell you exactly which part tier you're getting and what the trade-offs are (including that fingerprint reader thing most shops won't mention until after), and we back every repair for 2 years.
