Another A-1 encounter & transaction with Marc. Prompt to answer, fast and professional service. Quality of work serves as a benchmark for his industry.
My whole family has been using Barrie Screen Repair for several years. Marc is always prompt, courteous and willing to help. Highly recommend this business.
For your phone repair need Marc is your guy. Super honest and professional who is expert of what he does. I promise you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend
Marc has always done an amazing job for me. I have had several screen repairs, batteries replaced and general repairs, completed over the years and they are always done well. I will definitely be back.
Most back glass repairs fall between $79–$349, depending on your phone model, how badly it shattered, and whether we need to use heat or small miracles to get it off. iPhones can be trickier, but we always give you a clear quote before we touch a screw.
Yes, we can fix just the back. If the front screen still works fine, there's no need to replace the entire phone. We surgically remove the broken glass (without removing your soul, promise), clean everything up, and stick on a fresh new rear frame like it never happened. No need to remortgage your house.
We’re not the Apple Store. We won’t tell you we also need to replace the screen, battery, charge port, logic board, and maybe your personality while we’re at it. And we definitely won’t look at your slightly cracked iPhone 15 Pro and say, “Hmm… this is too broken. Want to upgrade to a 16 Pro instead? It has one more megapixel. Game-changer.” Nope. We fix the thing you actually asked us to fix. Wild, right?
Not unless you ghost us. Most back glass repairs are done same day or next day, depending on your phone model and how busy we are pulling glass shards out of other phones. Some models take a bit longer if they’re extra clingy (looking at you, iPhone 12+), but we’ll always give you a time estimate upfront.
Yep—unless it was broken before. We use OEM-grade or high-quality aftermarket glass that allows Qi wireless charging to work just like it did before the "incident." If something's funky afterward, bring it back and we’ll make it right. Unless you’re trying to charge it with a toaster. Please don’t do that.
Short answer: No. Long answer: Haaa no. Once your phone looks like it did a backflip off a balcony, AppleCare or Samsung Care+ usually tap out.
But—our back glass repair comes with a 2-year limited warranty, which covers anything that stops working properly related to the repair (like adhesive failure or wireless charging not working as it should). It does not cover new cracks, drops, accidents, or “mystery damage” that mysteriously looks like it fell off a roof. Basically, if it breaks again because of life, gravity, or your toddler, it’s on you. If something’s wrong because of us, we’ll make it right.
Good news—most back glass replacements already come with a brand-new outer camera lens, so you’re covered there at no extra charge. That’s included in the price we quote you up front. No surprise fees, no “oops we forgot to mention,” no sudden upsells when your phone’s already half open on the bench.
Now, if the internal lens or housing is damaged—you know, the part actually affecting your photo quality—that’s a different story. We can fix that too. And if we’re already replacing your back glass, we’ll quote it together and often knock a few bucks off the camera repair while we’re in there. Because nobody wants dreamy, blurry pics unless they’re going for sad indie band album art.
You can—if you enjoy a daily game of “Will I bleed today?” Cracked backs let in dust, moisture, and straight-up regret. And those tiny glass shards? They love sneaking into your pockets, your purse, your case, and your day like the world’s most annoying glitter bomb.
Replacing the back glass now saves you from bigger problems later—like water damage, internal corrosion, or needing a tetanus shot because your phone bit you.
And hey—you’re here because you’ve got a problem and you’re looking for a solution. That’s called being smart. So ask away. There are no dumb questions... except maybe “Should I keep using it if it’s slicing my fingers open?” (Answer: No. Hard no.)
Almost always, yes. We keep get the most popular colors and styles for iPhones and Samsung's. If your phone is something wild like "Frosted Alpine Glitter Mauve," we may need to special order that, or offer a close (and honestly better) alternative.
Depends. If the rest of the phone is solid and you’re not looking to upgrade soon, then yes—it’s way cheaper than buying new. But if your battery’s on life support and your screen’s already cracked, we might gently suggest putting it out to pasture. No pressure either way—we’ll give it to you straight.
Not always. You can walk in, call ahead, or message us first to make sure we’ve got the right back glass for your model. We don’t judge cracked phones—but we do judge people who show up with zero info and want it fixed “while I grab a coffee.”
